Our Plain-English Anti-Spam & Privacy Promise
We hate spam as much as you do. We will never sell, rent, trade, or share your email address or personal details with any advertiser, data broker, or third party. We are independent designers and developers building tools for creators — we're real people, not a huge corporation.
We will not be annoying. We only email you for essential service functions (like sending passwordless magic links or delivering your design blueprints) and critical account security notices. If you sign up, your inbox is treated with the exact same respect we expect for our own.
1. Scope: The Clockwork Suite
This Privacy Policy governs your use of services operated by Clockwork Web Dev, LLC ("Clockwork", "we", "us", or "our"), including our three integrated web creation platforms:
- 1. The Shuffle (Look & Feel) (
shuffle.clockworkwd.com) — Visual design prompt generator, color palette engine, and typography studio. - 2. Clairvoyance (Create Content) (
clairvoyance.clockworkwd.com) — Content collection, sitemap, and copy architecture tool. - 3. The Reveal (Build Site) (
reveal.clockworkwd.com) — Automated production site scaffolding and AntiGravity build environment.
By using any of our sites or creating an account, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
2. What Information We Collect
We follow the principle of data minimization: we only collect the minimum information required to deliver high-quality design and development tools.
Account Information
When you sign in, we collect your email address. We use passwordless authentication (Supabase magic links or OAuth through Google/GitHub). We never ask for or store passwords.
Design & Project Data
Your selected color palettes, font pairings, UI elements, navigation styles, and custom themes are saved to your account so you can resume work, share previews, and export blueprints.
Uploaded Assets & URLs
If you choose to use our brand color extractors, you may provide a website URL or upload a logo file (PNG, JPG, SVG). These are processed in real time to calculate brand hex codes.
Preferences & Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to remember your theme preference (cw_theme), narrator audio volume (cw_voice), and encrypted auth session token. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
3. How We Use Artificial Intelligence
Our applications utilize advanced AI models (such as Anthropic Claude and OpenAI Vision) via secure, private server-side APIs to assist in color extraction, brand analysis, and design generation:
- No Foundation Model Training: Your uploaded logos, proprietary designs, brand URLs, and custom blueprints are never used to train public third-party AI foundation models.
- Ephemeral Processing: Logo images sent for vision analysis are evaluated in-memory and are not repurposed or redistributed.
4. Payments & Financial Information
When you purchase an optional export unlock or Pro pass ($2.50 or $5.00 one-time fee), all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe. Clockwork never sees, stores, or transmits your credit card numbers or banking information. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We only partner with trusted infrastructure and service providers who adhere to strict data security standards:
- Supabase: Encrypted PostgreSQL database and passwordless authentication services.
- Vercel: Edge hosting, serverless functions, and SSL delivery.
- Mailgun: Transactional email delivery for magic sign-in links and blueprint delivery.
- Cloudflare: Turnstile bot mitigation to defend against scraping and abuse without intrusive captchas.
None of these vendors are permitted to use your data for marketing or any purpose other than providing necessary infrastructure.
6. Data Ownership, Retention & Your Rights
You own 100% of the designs, blueprints, and exported code you generate with Clockwork.
Regardless of where you live (including under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)), you have the right to:
- Access: Request a complete copy of all personal and project data associated with your email.
- Correction: Update or correct your account details at any time.
- Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request the complete and permanent deletion of your account and all saved themes.
- Export: Download your blueprints and theme configurations in portable markdown and JSON formats.
